Nick Tabarias, known professionally as Nicky T, is a seasoned blues guitarist whose sound bridges tradition and modern expression. He began playing at the age of 12, drawing early inspiration from the timeless style of B.B. King. Emerging from the rich Detroit blues scene, Tabarias developed his craft alongside respected artists including Alberta Adams, Jim McCarty, Bobby Murray, and Kenny Parker. These formative experiences helped shape a playing style rooted in authenticity, feel, and a deep understanding of the blues tradition. He later became a member of The Alligators, one of DetroitÂ´s longest-running blues bands, where he further established his reputation as a compelling and expressive guitarist. During this period, Tabarias formed a significant musical partnership with acclaimed blues artist Ronnie Earl, who served as both mentor and collaborator. Tabarias contributed to five of EarlÂ´s recordings and toured extensively, refining his voice on both stage and in the studio.
